MH is centrally located in Cotentin and lies just on the border of the magnificent Parc Naturel Régional des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin. Maybe one of the most wonderful areas of France. And lots to do as well!

You will find all kinds of interesting sides of this are: nature, culture, history (Vikings, William the Conqueror until D-day 1944). Also culinary wise very interesting area. We have many restauranttips.

The Normandy kitchen is well known througout France. Cream, cider, camembert, calvados, caramel, scallops... all good things here start with a c...., what a coincidence !!

A nice thing about Cotentin is that it stays lively all year round. Especially from Utah Beach until Cherbourg everything stays open 12 months a year.

MH is centrally located in the D-Day area. Visitors come all year round to explore this. War musea are open almost the entire year.

Every year aroung the 6th of June there are special events and commemorations. Camps, Keep them rolling clubs, re-enactment groups, marches, paratroopers...etc. A very special moment and event to attend. We also have a nice ceremony in Hémevez.

Every 5 years D-Day 1944 is a bigger event. Presidents and other famous people are then invited to join certain ceremonies.

A visit to the D-day sites can be quite emotional.
